Angeffects, Inc. employs one of only two LEED AP professionals in the area of Landscape in Orange County, California. We are Professionally Accredited to design and help implement a LEED Certified landscape. LEED stands for Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design. The USGBC (United States Green Building Council) has established a system of measurement and criterions that define a property beit residential, commercial, educational or otherwise. A LEED AP is a professional who earned the status of Accredited Professional (AP) from passing a tests and fulfilling continuing educational credits dictated by the USGBC.

The LEED design approach incorporates the ‘whole building’ design approach to create a sustainable site. The whole building landscape design approach integrates principles that build in the sustainable use of water, the conservation of soils, wise choices with vegetation and materials, and design that supports human health and well-being.

The purpose and principles behind the sustainable sites initiative creates sustainability. The equal marriage of those thing that are; Socially Equitable, Economically Feasible, and Environmentally Sound, makes an environment sustainable.
